Beautiful!! Sometimes things feel like they are so heavy and meaningful and irreversible when in fact they are none of those things. Thanks for sharing Adele ♥️
This definitely resonates! Some decisions seems so important and I feel like I have to get them just right, but it's easy to forget that there isn't a perfect answer.
And the whole religion thing of praying about it and seeking guidance from others (who may have a weird authority over you in church but no clue as to what’s best for you) and then the magical ‘peace that passes all understanding’ that apparently comes. Then the whole spiritualised idea of a calling. I made SO many (in hindsight poor) decisions based on what I thought was ‘my calling’. Sigh.
I so remember agonising over my calling! How freeing it is to know that there are many pathways and possibilities, and that peace doesn't depend on absolute certainty.
This is so useful. Thank you. Is it Gabor Mate who says the only three certainties in life are pain, uncertainty, and hard work? I can’t remember if it’s him or someone else, but the idea is that if we stop trying to avoid those things, and accept them as inevitable, we can focus on other stuff. This article reminded of that.

This is such a helpful way of putting it. Thank you!

Brilliant, thanks Adele

Certainly sounds like him. We can fight a lot of things unnecessarily! Thanks for sharing!
